We have the opportunity to provide our students with a more affordable education, and a more engaging educational experience, through the use of Open Educational Resources (OER) and the more effective use of the Bethel University Library's eResources.
The Zero Cost Course Resources Initiative seeks to encourage faculty to use these resources in their courses rather than expensive commercial textbooks.
This guide will provide you with the tools you will need to begin locating, selecting, evaluating, and assessing the use of OER and Library eResources.
If you would like assistance with locating OER and Library eResources, please contact the Library Liaison for your program.

In 2018, the Zero Cost Course Resources Initiative received a Strategic Growth Award grant from the Bethel University Foundation to fund the staffing, training, networking, faculty stipends, etc. needed to launch the Initiative.
