Faculty Guide to the Bethel University Library

Welcome to the Bethel University Library!

This guide is designed to quickly orient you to the library and the many ways we support you and your students virtually and in-person. The left menu will provide more details.

Overview

The Bethel University Library homepage is a great place to find information about our collection, library hours, research guides, and how to contact us with questions.

Although we have a large collection of print and electronic materials to support research, we highlight new fiction and nonfiction books in our fireplace lounge. These titles can also be viewed in an online featured collection.

Equipment and a variety of games are available for checkout. You'll also find the Makerspace for 3D modeling & printing, media creation & editing, sewing, and crafting located within the library.

Visit the History Center: Archives of Bethel University and Converge to learn about the history of Bethel and its founding denomination. The collection's scope ranges from Bethel personnel and institutional history to denominational founders, church leaders, and missionary work.

Join us throughout the year for library events like Primetime. The Primetime Presentations series showcases talks in the library about teaching, research, and service activities at Bethel. Topics include scholarly awards, engaged teaching and learning, study abroad experiences, and resources for lifelong learning.
