ERIC Features

ERIC, Education Resources Information Center, is a government repository for articles and documents in the field of education. There are some features not found in other databases:

Educational Level:

If you need to limit your search to an age or grade level (i.e. Middle Schools, Primary Education) select the grouping. You can even choose more than one area by holding the Control key on your keyboard and clicking on another choice (i.e. Secondary Education and High Schools)

ED or EJ?

ERIC includes Education Documents, ED, and Education Journals, EJ, in their listings. Journal articles are indexed in ERIC as in other databases. Documents can be a wide variety of things: conference papers, research papers, policy reports, fact sheets, and information briefs. A great deal of ERIC journal articles are now full text when you access ERIC through Bethel University Library online resources. Many ERIC documents are full text with a link back to the ERIC government site:
