ProQuest Database Search Alerts

ProQuest Databases:  Historical New York Times, Nursing & Allied Health, ProQuest Education Journals, ProQuest Newsstand,  ProQuest Psychology Journals, Social Services Abstracts, Sociological Abstracts, Sports Medicine & Education Index 

In order to create a search alert, you will first need to set up a My Research account within a ProQuest Database. This account will work across all of Bethel's ProQuest databases. 

  • When in a ProQuest database, click on the head icon in the upper right corner of the search screen and choose the Create a My Research Account option: 

  • Once you've created your account, you can sign in to save searches and create search alerts:

  • Perform a search on a topic of your choice. Click on the Save search/alert link in the upper portion of your search result screen, and choose the Create alert option: 

  • Fill in the form as prompted:
