Obtaining Material

While the library remains closed, the following services are now available to faculty.

  • Books in the Bethel Library collections are available for request in CLICsearch. Contactless pick-up is available outside the University Library door Monday-Thursday 11am-3pm. You may also request delivery to your home address.
  • Book chapters and articles from print journals in the Bethel Library collections may be requested in CLICsearch for digitization.

The library is not able to provide physical items (books, DVDs, CDs, etc.) from other libraries. We are able to provide digital resources. We are also able to request articles ands book chapters from other libraries.

  • To find out if our library has a specific journal, you can check the Journal Title List.
  • To request any journal articles or book chapters that are not available online, please use the appropriate ILLiad request formIn most cases, articles will be delivered as PDF files.

The library has access to e-books that cover a broad range of topics. Some Bible commentaries and other theological books are available as e-books and we are continuing to add them to our collection. You may access e-books through CLICsearch or go directly to the Finding eBooks page.

Some online reference books are included in Resource Guides by Subject.
