How to use Google Scholar and connect to Bethel University Library resources

What is Google Scholar?

Google Scholar is a simple way to search for scholarly literature. You can search across many disciplines and sources- articles, theses, books, abstracts, and court opinions- from academic publishers, professional societies, online repositories, universities and other web sites. 

Searching in Google Scholar

  • Start your search using a phrase or keywords:
    • racial inequality in the united states educational system
    • racial inequality and education and united states
  • Change the date range in the upper left corner for the most recent content
  • Use the links on the right side of the results to access the content
