*Getting Started at Bethel University Library

Writing & Citing Tools

When researching, writing, and citing, it's important to think about how to do each step with accuracy, honesty, and accountability in mind. Curious about using AI? See our Generative AI research guide.

The tools and resources below will help you get started.

  • LibSearch and most databases have a citation feature that formats your resource's citation information. *Note that since these are auto-generated, you will still need to check them for accuracy. Incorrect capitalization or incomplete data can occur.

  • Make corrections to citation information using the APA, MLA, Chicago, or Turabian manual.  You can also use the Citation Help webpage for support.

  • For organizing your research, consider using a citation manager like RefWorks. Bethel provides free access for current students.
