The Makerspace is a flexible, creative gathering place open to Bethel students, faculty, or staff for hands-on learning, collaboration, and innovation.

Submit a 3D File for Printing

Send a 3D Model to be Printed

To request our 3D Printing Service, please fill out the form (link below) as completely as possible.

Our 3D printing services are limited to the Bethel faculty, staff, and students. We will evaluate each 3D model, verify it fits on one of our printers, and add supports and a raft on a case-by-case basis. Please contact us for more information at makerspace@bethel.edu.

Directions and Process

1. Fill out the form
2. Attach your file ending in (STL, OBJ)
3. Indicate the HEIGHT of the object.
3. Click "Submit" at the bottom of the form to send your request.
4. After your form is submitted, we will process the file with a slicer to verify that the model can be printed. If there are errors with the design, we will contact you via email detailing the errors.
5. If there are no errors, you will receive an email with an estimate of print time and cost.
6. Once you respond to this email affirming that you want to print the item, we will print the object.
7. We will contact you when the item is available at the Library Check Out Desk.
