Bethel University Library : A Guide for Seminary Students

Graduate Research Seminar

The Graduate Research Seminar is a 0-credit requirement for all students in a degree program.

The course covers finding books and journal articles using Bethel's resources, understanding plagiarism, and designing your research.  All of the course material is available online in Moodle. The due date is set each term, but typically students have 5-6 weeks to go through the material in Moodle and complete the Assessment.  We recommend that you allow four hours to complete the course.

Course numbers:

  • GS001 - All Master's students except MFT
  • GS006 - Marriage & Family Therapy students
  • GS007 - Doctor of Ministry Students

The course opens 2-3 weeks before the beginning of the term, so you have the opportunity to complete the course before the term begins.
