Bethel Seminary St. Paul Library : A Brief Guide for Seminary Students

Interlibrary Loan

Bethel Seminary Library offers interlibrary loan (ILL) services to current students, faculty, and staff in order to provide access to materials for research and study which are not available in CLICsearch. Click here for more information on using interlibrary loan.

Study Spaces

The second floor of the addition has been designated as Quiet Study Space.  As a courtesy to others please refrain from ALL conversation here.

There are three Group Study Rooms furnished with a conference table and white board.  Students may reserve these rooms for group study.

There are two individual study carrels available to students.

Besides containing our Devotional Collection, the Flame Room in the basement of the library addition has been set aside for special prayer and reflection groups.

Reserve Material

Professors often put books on reserve in the library in order to ensure that they are accessible to all of their students.  The professor designates the borrowing period for each item:  2-hours, 2-days, and 1-week.

Ask at the Circulation Desk for reserve material.

Equipment

The library has a DVD/VHS player for use in viewing videos in the library. Ask at the circulation desk for the key to the viewing room.

The seminary library has some equipment available for check-out. A list of equipment is available at https://www.bethel.edu/library/services/equipment-technology/equipment-available.   Other equipment is available for checkout at Bethel University Library.
