Bethel Seminary St. Paul Library : A Guide

About the Library

 

The Carl H. Lundquist Library in St. Paul consists of more than 170,000 books; about 3,000 print periodical titles; over 22,000 electronic periodical titles; and 12,000 non-print materials. Special collections include the Nelson-Lundquist devotional books, the Klingberg Puritan Collection, the Skarstedt collection of evangelical pietism, the Bethel University archives, and the Baptist General Conference History Center.

Study Rooms

There are three group study rooms in the library.

  • Study Room 203 is located on the second floor of the main building.
  • Study Room 204 is located on the second floor of the main building.
  • Study Room B16 is located in the basement of the library addition.
    • The study rooms are available on a first-come, first-served basis unless they have been reserved. The rooms may be reserved for private study, but priority is given to groups.
    • Reservations may be made by calling 651-638-6184 or by using the online form.
  • Group Study Room Etiquette:
    • Close the door while in use
    • Leave the room in a neat and orderly fashion. This includes removing all trash, cleaning the board, and putting the furniture back to its original configuration.

There are two individual study carrels available in the library.

  • Study Carrels 114 and 115 are located on the first floor of the main building.
    • The study carrels are available on a first-come, first-served basis unless they have been reserved. .
    • Reservations may be made by calling 651-638-6184 or by using the online form.
