Scopus: Citation Tracker

What is Citation Tracker?

Track how often articles (from an author or journal) have been cited using the Citation Tracker.

Using Citation Tracker

Citation Tracker is available from the Results page:

  • Click in the box preceding an item to select it. (A check will appear in the box.)
  • Click on the View citation overview button at the top of the screen.

For Example

Citation Overview shows that this article has been cited 106 times since it was published. It also lists the number of citations by year. This feature is useful for determining an item's influence on other scholars' research.

Search Tip--The last four years are automatically displayed. To change the date range (red box), use the first drop down menu to select an earlier date, then click Update. It will include up to 15 years at a time.
