How long will it take for my items to arrive?

Items requested from CLIC libraries generally arrive in 1-2 working days.

An email is sent when your item is on the shelf and ready to be picked up.

Bethel Library card?

Do I have a library card?

Your Bethel University ID card is also your Library card.  This card allows you to check out materials at Bethel Libraries


Finding your barcode number:

The barcode number on the card can be used to request books through our "CLICnet" system.  When prompted for your barcode,  simply type in the 14-digit number that appears on the top right corner of the card shown below(leave off the "A" at the beginning and end of the number).

Summon search - Requesting Items from CLIC Libraries

 To get an item from another CLIC library: 

    • Locate the item in your search results list. If it is able to be checked out, the first text underneath the book description will say "Book: AVAILABLE" followed by further details.

    • On the screen that displays next, click the Request button shown here:

    • Enter your barcode information, found on your Bethel ID or the "Personal Information" section of BLink
    • Click Submit  on the "Requesting a Hold" screen

    Library staff will send an email when items are available to pick up at the library's circulation desk.


    CLIC is a consortium of eight private college and university libraries in the Twin Cities area. Current library card holders from these schools can request items from other CLIC libraries for free.
